When not a mom, I am a committed social worker, although we've moved so much that I've taken a bit of a hiatus. On Gather, I'm Looking For ...: Connections with other moms. While I can't relate to the working mother (ok, working outside the home), I think the issues around motherhood in general are something that we can all find commonality in. Interests Lately I've been listening to: Some of the new Alicia Keys album, when I get time I'm currently reading: Barack Obama's second book The last movie I watched was: Cars with my two year old I'd love to visit: Back to Europe I'm curious about: How the election will turn out. Favorite Music, Artists, Genres: Just about anything that isn't kids music. Favorite Books, Writers, Genres: I love historical novels, when I get to read them. Good biographies too. Although I don't get to read enough real meaty stuff right now, too tired at the end of the day. Favorite Movies, Actors, Genres: Favorite movie of all time, Gone with the Wind. Casablanca ranks right up there. Not sure I have a favorite actor/actress or genre. Favorite TV Shows, Actors: The Law and Order series, more SVU than the others. Favorite Places: Home.
